Finally a stellar showing from yours truly as I close in on 4th spot Necroastr from 5 points to just 2. While still quite a distance from leader edwinsng, let's take it a step at a time as I slowly climb my way up. Just hope that there is enough games for me now that we are nearing the Quarter-Finals.

Just a little very very obvious note. The only out-performers at this stage would be the ones who predict opposite to the majority of the forecasters here and the results not only go his way but also the scores. If not, the leaders will be fairly stable and i don't foresee anyone rushing in from behind to slot in a last-minute goal. LOL. All the front-running in the group matches have paid off so just cruise along. Unless of course you're right behind the leader and are jostling for a good position (aka bigger better bragging rights).
Jay: How abt a kicker-boost section, ala 20 (or even 40??) points if you manage to predict 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the correct order and so on so forth? That will keep everyone on their toes to score!

I second kelawar's excellent suggestion.
Agree that not much is going to change in the table, at least that's the view "from below". ;-)
Basically we have 2 leagues running here and the cut-off point is between position 18 and 19, with kelawar leading Division I which I belong to as well (having started late... yeah yeah, excuses)
I don't harbour any hopes of making it into Premier but hey it's still great fun to try to get to #19 and keep lau hero off my back. (Watch out kelawar I'm coming your way!)

Kelawar: Personally, I would prefer to keep it simple coz I am doing this manually and alone!
Points will start to change when we edge towards the finals where the outcome is very unpredictable.
Bet you really dunno the outcome of the coming Portugal vs Netherlands match right?
Cha-Dum-Yum: It is indeed unfortunate that you were able to join us in the fight "at the top" and we know that it is only because you came in too late.
Perhaps if I may recommend to take this a practice session and then join us for the SPUG EPL Prediction League 2006/7.
