Midweek Outlook (7 March 2007)
Manchester United vs Lille
"Larsson is the most important player for this tie.."
- Gary, 6 March 2007
With European commitments and FA cup action this weekend, Manchester United can take an eye off the domestic race. Now Manchester United have Lady Luck on their side, rubbing the green wherever they play. Take for Liverpool match, Manchester United are contented for a draw. That is definitely not the Man United team we know. But don't know why John O'Shea want to be the spoiler and ruin the perfect home record for Liverpool. No matter how they shoot, volley, heading, it turns to goals.
For this game, Henrik Larsson is the most important player for this tie. He is in the same mould of Ole Gunner Solskjaer. Be it on the starting 11 or as a sub, he will know instinctively his opponent's weakness or strength. Latest news is Rooney will be fit for this tie despite Jamie Carragher's kick. But i doubt he will feature for the full match.
Lille would no doubt, hot up for this match in regard for the first leg where they protest, argue about the validity of Gigg's quick taken free kick goal.
Odds and Analysis: Man United is giving 1.25 handicap at 2.025. With Lille's away form been awful and some players missing, expect to see your bookie giving you the winnings.
Disclaimer: The above views are purely my own two-cents' worth. In other words, I cannot and will not guarantee that my predictions are accurate. If you want to bet on the game, do so at your own risk. Also, please bet responsibly and within your means regardless of how "sure thing" that game may appear to be. As the old saying goes, "The Ball Is Round". Good luck.
