SPUG EPL Prediction League - Match Weekend 28 - 29 Apr 2007

This is bad. From a 5-point cushion to 2 and now suriving at the top by a mere solitary point. Am I not destined to win this season?

It was an interesting weekend with ianrush, Cha_Dum_Yen and myself all predicting different outcome for the Wigan-West Ham game. If Cha_Dum_Yen or I have gotten the outcome correct, the season would have been over. Instead we have dark horse ianrush pulling the carpet from under us this week.

With the top 2 stumbling over the weekend, we have a even darker horse, TheSaint888, within striking range. The season is still very much wide open.

With 2 more match-weekends to go, can I hold on to the lead?

I want to continue to separate the men from the boys in our league so have picked 2 games that could go either way. Note that Saturday's game is on StarSports:

EPL59: SAT 05/05 Everton vs Portsmouth on STARSports at 10:00pm SIN/HKT

EPL60: SUN 06/05 Arsenal vs Chelsea on ESPN at 11:00pm SIN/HKT

Nah... after playing full 120 minutes, I think Arsenal will roll them over easy.

Still a draw is good enough thus giving ManUtd the chance to seal the title this week.

Well looking on the bright side, Chelsea are gone too.

I hate to be in the position where we are still distracted by the ECL while Chelsea are all focused on wrangling the title from us.
