Beer Fund Raising : 08 - 09 Dec 2007

Apologies for the late submission of this entry as I was traveling yesterday and didn't have a chance to get online to write this entry.

Still the predictions were still ongoing in the background on an offline basis.

I picked ManUtd to give a 2.5-ball handicap which turned out to be on the money right on the whistle. Congrats to Ryan Giggs for finally reaching the 100-goal milestone.

Unfortunately, my other prediction nose dived as Liverpool surrendered meekly to Reading. I should have seen it coming? Benitez is throwing the game ahead of the do-or-die game against Marseille this midweek for the final match day of Round 1 ECL.

Sunderland scored a beautiful win last week to bring the Wanker Points to 13. Just 2 more to tie McCarthy's awful record of 15 or 3 to surpass it.

As expected, the point aren't expected to come in this week as Chelsea beat them 2-0 comfortably.

Perhaps next week against Aston Villa or Reading the week after?

In anyway, case as long as they can chalk up to 20 points before the Christmas/New Year fixtures are over, they would look poised to survived. We shall see.
