SPUG EPL Prediction League
Results 18 - 19 Aug 2007

We almost have our first Perfect 10 this week if not for the fact that ianrush's beloved Liverpool gifting away a penalty, only for Lampard to tuck it away.

Sheena, too came close but her chances were up in smoke when Portsmouth score one goal more than she would like but the 5 points from the Liverpool-Chelsea draw pulls her away from the pack with an early 4-point lead. Well done!

We also welcome Jiahao to the game despite coming on a week late. Still, it is hardly any damage as he quickly got off the bottom with a 4-point haul this week.

Tip for the newbie. As you can see from Beaver21's example in the last game, if you missed the submission deadline for the first matchday, you can still come on and submit the prediction for the second match as long as the second match has not kick off. Better to miss one game than to miss two.

I watched the game between Liverpool and Chelsea. Although I am a Liverpool hater, I must say the referee was absolutely wrong to award an undeserving penalty kick to the Russian mobs.

Whoa ...this Sheena is like Ericson; new to the league but leading the table.

Favourites like Vox and Ian Rush eating sand!

A new order in the works, just like it is threatening to happen in the BPL. Remember when Mourinho came and turned the table upside down?

Yes...uncertainty makes this game special.
