Manchester United vs Coventry City
"For some reason, i really dont understand why Rooney is so desperate to play in the Carling Cup..."
-Gary, 26/09/2007

Time for the 3rd competition, the Carling Cup where lower leagues teams are out to make a killing to the top teams in the Premier Leauge. Opposition for the 3rd round is Coventry City. It been a long time since i heard them. But they are doing quite well in the Championship, lavishing in the 8th place in the table. And this is also the time for Fergie to unleash his second stringers.
For some reason, i really dont understand why Rooney is so desperate to play in the Carling Cup when he can have some rest on his recent recovered broken toe. To get match fitness? To get a goal? What other reasons beside these two??
Coventry's Team News: Michael Hughes, Robert Page and Kevin Kyle all ruled out. Meanwhile, David McNamee, Colin Hawkins and Julian Gray are also struggling to prove their fitness.
Man Utd's Team News: Gerard Pique, Jonny Evans, Dong Fangzhuo and Tomasz Kuzczak are expected to play. We could also see Owen Hargreaves, Nani and Anderson to be play in some part of the game.
Odds and Analysis: When i see the odds of 1.75 at 2, i have two minds over it, either it will clear half or wont clear at all. Too risky. Not safe. Sit at home and see the action on the television can liao or better still, go and sleep.
